This portrait study was inspired by circus posters from the late 19th century, from the age of the Freakshow. Kira created and sculpted all of the characters by hand and collaborated to photograph her creations with the amazing Philip Rostron of Instil Productions. 
Kira's meticulous and original work is a labour of love, she first sketches her concepts, and then moves forward with sculpting and designing the characters from their amazing handpainted eyes, to painstakingly laid hair. Kira also constructs and designs the sets in which her characters appear. This work took Kira over a year to complete and we are incredibly proud of this project.
