FITC - Toronto 2010 - Playground
March 3rd, 2010

So, this year i'm really excited about FITC. I'm lucky enough to have put together what I think is going to be a pretty exciting discussion.

I wanted to assemble a group of people who would be able to have a conversation, rather than a typical panel discussion and I feel really thrilled to say, I have.

Producing Creative: Playing for Keeps in a Global Digital Playground
With expectations getting higher and technology becoming more accessible, the heat is on Producers to make magic. This panel will be discussing the art of creative production. Even though it looks like we're spinning plates, there is in fact an order to things. Is there a process? What’s the right way to execute digital and broadcast production together? What leads what? Is there a formula for success? And what happens when you throw in even more plates to spin outdoor, ambient, print, events?

This diverse panel of seasoned integrated production talent will step inside the business of creative production with a look at what works, what doesn't and where it's all headed.

David Eriksson, CD and CEO of North Kingdom, Adrian Gunadi, ACD of Production, Birthplace, Myself, Founder & President of Lunch, and Jason Zada, Director, Digital Evangelist and former ECD of EVB.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

If you have any questions or topics you'd like us to touch on shoot me a note.

FITC : Producing Creative: Playing for keeps in a global digital playground
February 10th, 2010

Finally firmed up all of the speakers for the panel at FITC this year. If you haven't already bought a ticket, you should, it's shaping up to be a great event.

I'm doing something a little unconventional (of course) and moderating and also taking part in the panel, I'm absolutely thrilled and honored to have assembled a great panel of individuals and i'm lucky to say good friends for what I think is going to be a really interesting, and lively discussion. Ideally, I'd like for it to feel like people in attendance are actually present within one of our conversations. It's also a chance to talk about what it is to produce creative, by some of the best people I could think of.

David Eriksson is both Creative Director and CEO of North Kingdom

Jason Zada, Director, Digital Evangelist and former founder and ECD of Evolution Bureau (EVB), creator of "Elf Yourself" - (He hates when I say that).

Adrian Gunadi Associate Creative Director of Production at Birthplace Inc., a start-up that specializes in product, content and media property development.

Cuddle the Winter Away
January 5th, 2010

If you haven't already seen it, it's kind of the right time to go have a look around. It's cold. It's winter. Cuddle Me Sutra.

This was a true collaboration and big Lunch production, Myself, Tool/Radke Director - The one and only Jason Zada, Bijou Editorial, Alchemy, and Indusblue were all engaged to help our fantastic friends at Saatchi & Saatchi Canada bring the world of the Cuddle Me Sutra to life.

We shot this back in snowless and relatively balmy October.

Now that Winter is completely here, it seemed fitting to finally Cuddle the Winter Away
